In 2004, Peter Asciutto opened a store in Downtown Albemarle to sell vacuum cleaners and running shoes. Over time, Vac and Dash has cultivated a solid running community that enhances the health and wellness-based opportunities in Downtown Albemarle.
To thank Peter for “going the extra mile” in making Downtown Albemarle a great community, Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation honors him as a NC Main Street Champion.
