Wake Forest - Carter Harrell

One of Wake Forest Downtown’s biggest champions is Carter Harrell.  Carter, a banker by trade, and a Downtown advocate by heart, has worked tirelessly over the last few years to make an impact on our community.

Carter has chaired our Downtown Organization’s Board of Directors, chaired our Main Street Award-winning “Dirt Day” event, and volunteered countless hours throughout the years for organizational programs and events.

Carter has worked with his company to take a leadership role in Downtown. They are major sponsors of many of our events; have opened the use of their private parking lot for public use; and allow many civic organizations to use their property for nonprofit events, including some that occasionally restrict access to their business.

Carter truly cares about our downtown stakeholders and visitors and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help make Downtown Wake Forest a true destination!  He is a North Carolina Main Street Champion.
