David and Rhonda Price have operated an automobile service station in Historic Downtown Eden since 2004. From that time forward, they have been active and generous members of the local merchant association, often providing use of their shop for merchant meetings and Eden Chamber of Commerce monthly coffees. They even provide space in the shop’s basement for merchants to store Christmas decorations in the off- season months. Rhonda and David are consistent contributors to Eden events, such as RiverFest, Oink & Ale, and Touch a Truck, and Rhonda has volunteered for special event committees for more than a decade. Downtown Eden’s popular Oink and Ale beer and music festival was Rhonda’s brainchild. In 2013 Rhonda assumed the role of Merchant Association President.
David and Rhonda quietly support Eden’s downtown revitalization efforts by giving their time, energy, and resources and that is why they are North Carolina Main Street Champions.
