Since moving to Main Street in 2010, Patrick Byrd has championed the economic revitalization of Downtown Garner with passion, visionary leadership, and his own sweat equity. In the last seven years, Byrd has renovated two underutilized properties to house his businesses, Rising Stream Media and Full Bloom Coffee Roasters, while serving on the Board of Directors for the Garner Revitalization Association. Patrick’s single greatest contribution has been his ability to cast vision; he wants to see Downtown Garner become the destination for local flavor and flair in the community. To that end, Patrick helped organize the town’s first, and hugely successful, food truck rodeo events, and he recently opened Full Bloom Coffee and Craft. His café, featuring coffee roasted on Main Street and artisan deli items, is the only restaurant in Downtown Garner.
Byrd’s forward thinking and investment in two business and properties on Main Street make him an undeniable North Carolina Main Street Champion for Downtown Garner.
