Lori Dutra is a great champion for Downtown Oxford. She has served in many roles during her time on the Downtown Oxford Development Corporation Board, including two terms as President from 2015 to 2019. She was instrumental in keeping a focused vision on Downtown and the Main Street program. Do not be fooled by her petite stature, as she stands tall when championing for Oxford and for her clients. Lori is a community leader who is passionate about what is best for Downtown Oxford, such as leading Oxford’s Comprehensive Downtown Plan effort. Lori has aligned and leveraged downtown resources and partnerships to ensure the success of the Downtown Oxford Economic Development Commission’s mission and its vision of downtown Oxford being the central gathering place for Granville County. When she is not advocating for Downtown Oxford, Lori is an attorney and local restaurant entrepreneur with her husband, James. Oxford is pleased to recognize Lori Dutra as a North Carolina Main Street Champion.
