Mari Howe served as the Downtown Development Director for the Downtown Garner Association for over seven years. During her tenure, Mari led the Downtown Garner Association and downtown through significant changes. Mari facilitated the first public-private partnership for the newest Downtown development project, Metro 201. Mari also worked with Garner’s Economic Development Director to integrate the Downtown Program as a formal part of the Economic Development Department. She also helped facilitate multiple beloved downtown events, including Food Truck Rodeos and Pop-UpMarkets. The Downtown Garner Association truly appreciates Mari's effort and dedication to Downtown and proudly selects Mari Howe as its two thousand twenty-two Main Street Champion.
