With their infectious personalities, reliability, and dedication, Starla and Bobbie have become invaluable assets to Morganton. For years, they have volunteered for key community events such as the TGIF summer concert series, Halloween celebrations, Christmas events, and the Third Thursday Art Crawl. Bobbie also serves on the Main Street Advisory Board. Their unwavering commitment and willingness to lend a helping hand have been crucial to the success of numerous downtown initiatives.
This year, Starla and Bobbie stepped up to oversee the hospitality tent at the Morganton Festival, an essential component that serves the event’s generous sponsors. Their impeccable style, kindness, and deep knowledge of Morganton and Burke County made them the perfect choice for this important responsibility.
