2024 NC Main Street Champion
Stephanie Brown, branch manager at Fidelity Bank in Downtown Wake Forest, has been a tireless advocate and supporter of the downtown community for many years. Whether she is shopping local, promoting downtown businesses on social media, or supporting the efforts of the board, she consistently has the best interests of downtown at heart.
Stephanie joined Wake Forest Downtown’s Board of Directors in 2018, serving one year as treasurer and three years as board chair. Recently, she was voted back onto the Board for an additional year of service as past chair due to her organizational knowledge and strong leadership. Her insight and passion for downtown are evident in all that she does. Stephanie is now leading a new downtown committee focused on engaging local business owners.
Her advocacy for the greater good of downtown, both personally and professionally, has led to Fidelity Bank supporting many community events and opening its private parking lot for both public and private events.
Stephanie is deeply committed to ensuring that Wake Forest continues to thrive as a destination for all, always willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
For her unwavering dedication to downtown and her leadership in making downtown a better place, Wake Forest is proud to recognize Stephanie Brown as its 2024 North Carolina Main Street Champion.
