The Bank of Washington, in Washington, NC is now The Hackney, a local food and spirits restaurant in downtown. Vacant for more than 12 years, the developers of the project received a $200,000, Main Street Solutions Fund grant. The Hackney currently employs 15 full-time and part-time employees.
